Eduardo Crangar, Ronald Araújo’s representative, says it is too soon to make predictions about the defender’s future at Liverpool once his loan spell from Barcelona ends after this season.
“Ronald is doing well, and we are pleased with his performances. However, it is still too early to discuss what happens next,” Crangar told Winwin.
“He feels comfortable, enjoys playing for Liverpool and is happy to contribute to the team and support his teammates, as he has previously mentioned.”
Liverpool have the option to make Araújo’s move permanent next summer for €55 million, although they are not obligated to complete the deal.
It is yet to be decided whether the Reds will activate the clause or attempt to negotiate a reduced transfer fee. Nevertheless, the Uruguay international has made a positive impression since arriving at Anfield.
