Bradley Barcola has emerged as one of the hottest names in this summer’s transfer window, but Liverpool and Arsenal may have to shatter their transfer records to sign him.
The 23-year-old winger is reportedly unhappy with his limited role at Paris Saint-Germain and is said to be considering his future after being left on the bench for the Champions League final. With PSG also pushing to sign RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, Barcola fears his opportunities could become even more limited.
Although the France international has yet to agree a new contract, PSG have no intention of selling. The French champions are reportedly demanding at least £116 million, making it clear they will only consider an extraordinary offer.
Barcola has enjoyed remarkable success since joining PSG from Lyon in 2023, winning multiple Ligue 1 titles and two Champions League trophies. Last season, he contributed 13 goals and seven assists and is currently representing France at the FIFA World Cup.
Arsenal remain eager to strengthen their attack, while Liverpool are also searching for a new forward this summer. However, PSG’s enormous valuation means any deal will be difficult to complete.
