Marcos Senesi’s girlfriend leaves Hashtag United after less than two months
Marcos Senesi’s girlfriend, Kelci-Rose Bowers, has parted ways with Hashtag United just weeks after joining the club, with the move described as unsuccessful.
The 22-year-old defender joined Hashtag United in August after leaving Bournemouth, where she had previously played. Her move to London came after Senesi completed his own transfer from Bournemouth to Tottenham during the summer.
Senesi signed a four-year contract with Spurs in June after his Bournemouth deal expired, while Bowers followed by making her surprise move to Hashtag United a few weeks later.
However, her time at the non-league club lasted only three competitive appearances.
Bowers played the full match in Hashtag’s season opener against Lewes before scoring in the League Cup. She later featured against her former club on August 30, which turned out to be her final appearance for the side.
Hashtag United confirm departure
Hashtag United announced that Bowers had left the club following a mutual agreement and revealed that she is set to join another team in the FA Women’s National League.
The club said her relocation from Bournemouth had initially brought her to Hashtag, but the move ultimately failed to work out. They also wished her well in the next stage of her career.
Her new club has not yet been officially revealed.
Senesi also struggling at Tottenham
Bowers’ short spell in London comes at a time when Senesi is also finding life difficult following his move to Tottenham.
The Argentina international enjoyed a strong campaign at Bournemouth last season, but he has featured in only one Premier League match for Spurs so far this season.
Senesi started Tottenham’s opening league defeat against Brentford but has since remained on the bench under manager Roberto De Zerbi. His only other appearance came in the Carabao Cup, where Tottenham were eliminated at home by Liverpool.
With Micky van de Ven and Jan Paul van Hecke appearing to be ahead of him in the pecking order, Senesi will be hoping for more opportunities soon.
After his partner’s sudden departure from Hashtag United, Senesi will also be hoping his own move to London eventually works out and does not end in another early exit.
