Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Sporting CP winger Geny Catamo as manager Roberto De Zerbi considers strengthening his attacking options ahead of the January transfer window.
According to Fussball News, Spurs are among several Premier League clubs monitoring the 25-year-old Mozambique international. AC Milan and Como are also believed to be interested in the winger.
Catamo could offer Spurs more attacking options
Catamo has established himself as an important player for Sporting CP, impressing with his pace, dribbling ability and versatility in attacking positions.
His ability to operate on either wing could give De Zerbi greater tactical flexibility, while his direct style of play could help Tottenham create more chances in one-on-one situations. He can also feature in more advanced central positions.
However, Spurs would face significant competition, with Newcastle United, Bournemouth, Everton, Brentford, Leeds United and Sunderland also reportedly keeping tabs on the winger.

Signing Catamo will not be easy for Tottenham. Sporting CP reportedly rejected offers of up to €40 million from Sunderland during the summer, underlining their determination to keep the player unless their valuation is met.
The winger is under contract until June 2029 and has a reported €60 million release clause. Sporting are said to be unwilling to reduce their demands.
Although Tottenham have the financial resources to compete for his signature, the club must decide whether he is the right investment for their squad.
