Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa is reportedly attracting interest from three Serie A clubs as he considers leaving Anfield and returning to Italy.
The Italy international has struggled to establish himself since arriving at Liverpool from Juventus in the summer of 2024. His limited involvement has raised questions over his future at the club, and his time on Merseyside could now be coming to an end.
According to Calciomercato, Chiesa is keen on a move away from Liverpool, with Inter Milan, Atalanta and Lazio all monitoring his situation.
Chiesa was regarded as a major talent during his time in Serie A, particularly at Juventus, and a return to Italy could give him an opportunity to revive his career and regain regular playing time.
The 28-year-old has found opportunities difficult to come by at Liverpool and has yet to feature for the Reds this season. He also made only limited appearances during his first two campaigns at Anfield.
With Inter, Atalanta and Lazio reportedly considering a move during the January transfer window, Chiesa’s Liverpool future looks increasingly uncertain. However, Calciomercato reports that there have been no concrete talks between the clubs at this stage.
Since joining Liverpool, Chiesa has scored five goals in 50 appearances, making his spell at Anfield a difficult one so far.
It remains to be seen whether any of the interested Serie A clubs will make a formal approach and how much Liverpool could receive for the winger after his limited impact in England.
