Bayern Munich are reportedly preparing a new long-term contract for Michael Olise as they look to secure the French winger’s future at the club.
The 24-year-old has impressed significantly since joining Bayern, attracting attention from several of Europe’s leading clubs with his performances.
Liverpool have previously been linked with Olise, with the Reds reportedly viewing the former Crystal Palace star as a possible long-term successor to Mohamed Salah.
According to German outlet Bild, Bayern are now working on improved terms for Olise. His current contract runs until 2029, but the proposed extension could keep him at the Allianz Arena until 2032.
Olise has continued to develop since leaving Crystal Palace, taking his game to another level in Germany and establishing himself as one of Europe’s most exciting attacking players.
It remains unclear whether Olise would accept Bayern’s proposed new deal. He could choose to continue his progress in Munich or potentially consider a move elsewhere in the future.
From Liverpool’s perspective, Olise’s ability to operate on the right wing makes him a potential candidate to eventually fill the role currently occupied by Salah.
However, Bayern appear determined to act early and secure Olise’s long-term future before his contract situation becomes a bigger issue.
