Tottenham Could Turn to Eddie Howe If Roberto De Zerbi Is Sacked
Tottenham are reportedly considering Eddie Howe as a potential replacement for Roberto De Zerbi if the club eventually decides to part ways with the Italian manager.
Former Tottenham scout Bryan King has suggested that Howe could be one of the candidates on Spurs’ shortlist. The English coach has extensive Premier League experience from his spells with Bournemouth and Newcastle and is currently available.
The speculation comes amid Tottenham’s difficult beginning to the new campaign. Spurs have picked up just two points from their opening five Premier League games, with their latest setback coming in a 3–2 defeat against Aston Villa.
Despite the poor results, there has been no confirmed decision from Tottenham to dismiss De Zerbi. Reports indicate that the club remains willing to give the former Brighton boss more time to turn the team’s fortunes around.
Eddie Howe to Tottenham?
Howe’s Premier League experience could make him a possible option if Tottenham eventually decide to make a change in the dugout.
