Jamie Carragher has delivered a worrying prediction for Tottenham ahead of their London derby against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Tottenham travel to west London following a 3-1 victory over Coventry City on Monday, bringing their six-game winless run to an end. However, despite their recent success, doubts remain over Roberto De Zerbi’s ability to turn the club’s season around.
Spurs entered the campaign with high expectations after an ambitious summer transfer window and De Zerbi’s appointment. Unfortunately, inconsistent performances have left supporters concerned about another disappointing season.
Chelsea, meanwhile, appear to be finding their rhythm again. After struggling before the international break, the Blues have bounced back with consecutive victories, scoring seven goals in the process.
Carragher believes Chelsea can maintain their momentum and has backed them to defeat Tottenham in Saturday’s derby.
The former Liverpool defender also expects Arsenal to overcome Everton, while tipping Liverpool to end Brighton’s four-match winning streak at Anfield.

Elsewhere, Manchester United could face another difficult afternoon when Bournemouth visit Old Trafford on Sunday.
Chris Sutton, speaking to BBC Sport, has backed Bournemouth to secure a positive result against United. Despite receiving criticism for his previous prediction that United would suffer a heavy defeat to Leeds, Sutton remains concerned about the team’s performances.
He believes United’s struggles this season could leave them vulnerable against Bournemouth’s attacking approach. The controversy surrounding Bruno Fernandes’ comments about Michael Carrick has also added to the uncertainty surrounding the club.
Sutton questioned whether those connected with United still have enough confidence in Carrick’s leadership, suggesting that another defeat could put his position in serious danger.
He also believes Bournemouth have a genuine opportunity to exploit United’s weaknesses, given their attacking quality and recent performances at Old Trafford.
