LIVERPOOL FANS TURN ON £123M STAR AFTER HUMILIATING MAN CITY DEFEAT! 😱

Liverpool Fans Turn on £123m Star After Humiliating Man City Defeat

Liverpool supporters have expressed their frustration with Bradley Barcola following the Reds’ disappointing 3-0 defeat to Manchester City at Anfield.

The clash was highly anticipated, but the game changed dramatically after Ryan Gravenberch was sent off for a second bookable offence. Many Liverpool fans were unhappy with the decision, believing the foul that earned him his first yellow card was not particularly serious.

Manchester City took full advantage of their numerical advantage. Erling Haaland opened the scoring in the 65th minute before Jeremy Doku produced a stunning finish just three minutes later. Rayan Cherki then completed the demolition with a third goal 10 minutes afterwards.

However, while Florian Wirtz also struggled to make an impact, much of the criticism from Liverpool supporters was directed at Barcola.

The French winger arrived from Paris Saint-Germain for a reported £123 million, with expectations that he would immediately strengthen Liverpool’s attack. Unfortunately, his performance against City did little to silence the growing concerns about his start at Anfield.

Barcola struggled to take on defenders, appeared hesitant in possession and found it difficult to get past Matheus Nunes. With several key players, including Alexander Isak, Dominik Szoboszlai and Cody Gakpo, unavailable, this was an opportunity for him to step up.

Instead, the 24-year-old left supporters disappointed.

One frustrated fan described him as Liverpool’s worst performer by a considerable distance, arguing that he repeatedly failed to take advantage of opportunities to run at Nunes.

Another supporter admitted being lost for words over his display, while others pleaded with the expensive signing to offer something more to the team.

Fans also questioned the performances of both Barcola and Wirtz, particularly given the importance of the match and the absence of several key players.

The defeat represents another frustrating moment for Liverpool, while Barcola now faces increasing pressure to justify the huge fee invested in him.

The former PSG attacker will have an opportunity to respond when Liverpool travel to face LASK in the Champions League on Wednesday. After six appearances since his arrival, he is still waiting to register his first goal or assist for the club.
