Mohamed Salah Nears Stunning Transfer After Agreeing €12 Million-a-Year Deal

Mohamed Salah Edging Closer to Beşiktaş Switch After Contract Breakthrough

Former Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is reportedly on the verge of completing a sensational move to Turkish giants Beşiktaş after reaching an agreement in principle over personal terms.

The Egyptian forward is available as a free agent following the end of his successful spell at Liverpool, and despite attracting interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and the United States, he is believed to prefer remaining in European football.

Reports indicate that Beşiktaş have offered Salah a one-year contract until 2027, with the option to extend it for an additional season. The proposed deal is said to include an annual salary of €12 million.

Transfer insider Nicolò Schira claims the two parties have already agreed on the framework of the contract, while Beşiktaş manager Vincenzo Italiano is playing a key role in convincing the winger to join his ambitious project.

Although the transfer has not yet been finalized, optimism is growing that the remaining financial details and paperwork will be completed in the coming days. Earlier negotiations reportedly stalled over demands from Salah’s representatives, but those issues now appear close to being resolved.

If the move is completed, Salah would become one of the biggest signings in Turkish football history, giving Beşiktaş a world-class attacker without paying a transfer fee while keeping the Egyptian star in European competition.
