Yan Diomande Makes Transfer Choice as Surprise Club Joins Liverpool and Arsenal Chase

Yan Diomande Chooses Preferred Destination as Real Madrid Join Liverpool, Arsenal and PSG in Transfer Race

RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande has reportedly decided where he wants to play next as interest in the highly rated teenager continues to grow.

The 19-year-old enjoyed an outstanding debut Bundesliga campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists before impressing for Ivory Coast at the 2026 World Cup.

Liverpool and PSG were among the first clubs linked with the £100 million-rated winger, while Arsenal recently entered the race after missing out on another attacking target.

Now, Real Madrid have emerged as surprise contenders, with reports claiming the Spanish giants have opened talks with Leipzig over a potential deal.

Despite Madrid’s interest, Diomande is still believed to favour a move to PSG—the club he supported growing up. However, if the French champions fail to reach an agreement with Leipzig, he is now said to be open to joining Real Madrid instead.

PSG have yet to submit an official offer, and that delay is reportedly frustrating the young winger as he waits for his future to be resolved.

Speaking during the World Cup, Diomande admitted he expects to leave Leipzig this summer but insisted his main focus was representing Ivory Coast, leaving transfer discussions to his agent.

Liverpool and Arsenal remain interested, but with Real Madrid now in the mix, the battle for one of Europe’s brightest young talents is becoming even more intense.
