Report: Liverpool strike £109.7m agreement to sign Bradley Barcola on a five-year deal

Report: Liverpool reportedly reach £109.7m agreement to sign Bradley Barcola on a five-year deal

Liverpool have reportedly agreed a deal worth £109.7 million (€128m) with Paris Saint-Germain to sign French winger Bradley Barcola this summer.

According to transfer journalist Pedro Almeida, the 23-year-old has agreed a five-year contract, with the option to extend for a sixth year. However, the claim has not yet been confirmed by several of the most reliable transfer reporters, leaving questions over whether the deal has been fully completed.

If the reported fee is accurate, Liverpool would have negotiated PSG down from their initial valuation of around £145m, representing a significant breakthrough in talks.

Elsewhere, French outlet L’Equipe reports that both Liverpool and PSG remain optimistic about completing the transfer. While personal terms with Barcola are said to be agreed, the two clubs are still working to bridge the gap over the final transfer fee.

Barcola is reportedly keen on a new challenge after becoming dissatisfied with his role under Luis Enrique, while PSG’s pursuit of additional attacking options has fuelled speculation that the French champions are open to his departure.

Although negotiations are believed to be progressing well, the transfer has yet to receive widespread confirmation from the most trusted sources, meaning Liverpool fans may still have to wait before any official announcement.
