DE ZERBI SUFFERS MAJOR BLOW! 😳 TOTTENHAM SUMMER SIGNING RULED OUT FOR EVERTON CLASH — RETURN DATE REVEALED!

TOTTENHAM DEAL BLOW: DE ZERBI’S SUMMER SIGNING RULED OUT — RETURN DATE CONFIRMED!

Tottenham have suffered a fresh setback ahead of their Premier League clash with Everton, with one of Roberto De Zerbi’s new arrivals set for a spell on the sidelines.

Spurs have been busy rebuilding their squad this summer after another disappointing Premier League campaign. De Zerbi has prioritised strengthening the midfield and defence, while also bringing in Martin Dubravka as cover following Guglielmo Vicario’s departure to Juventus.

Tottenham also added Omar Marmoush and Manchester City winger Savio to improve their attacking options. However, with Dejan Kulusevski facing a lengthy absence and Wilson Odobert dealing with a serious knee injury, Spurs were still searching for another left-sided attacker.

After missing out on targets including Cody Gakpo and Iliman Ndiaye, Tottenham eventually secured Mykhailo Mudryk from Chelsea on a season-long loan on deadline day.

However, Mudryk’s return has now suffered another setback. Reports indicate that the Ukrainian winger picked up an injury during training and is expected to miss several weeks.

As a result, he could be unavailable for Tottenham’s upcoming fixtures against Everton, Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Mathys Tel is now expected to provide cover on the left. The 21-year-old showed flashes of quality during pre-season, although he is yet to reproduce that form consistently in competitive matches.

De Zerbi could also move Savio to the left wing, allowing Mohammed Kudus to continue on the right.

With Kudus now back to full fitness, Tottenham will hope the Ghanaian can rediscover his best form and provide the attacking spark they need during Mudryk’s absence.
