Bradley Barcola missed a huge opportunity to open his Premier League account for Liverpool during their clash with Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.
In the 20th minute, the French winger took advantage of a defensive mistake by Brentford, winning possession near the halfway line before racing forward and leaving the defenders struggling to keep up.
Barcola found himself one-on-one with goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher, with a golden opportunity to put Liverpool ahead.
However, his attempted chip went badly wrong, sending the ball wide of the goal and wasting a massive chance to score his first Premier League goal for the Reds.
The miss came as a surprise, especially after Barcola had recently impressed with a hat-trick against LASK. Despite that performance, the Liverpool winger is still waiting to get off the mark in the Premier League.
Can Barcola bounce back and find his scoring touch in the next game? 👀🔴
