TOTTENHAM RECEIVE MAJOR XAVI SIMONS INJURY BOOST AS POSSIBLE RETURN DATE EMERGES!

Tottenham Hotspur have received encouraging news regarding Xavi Simons, with the Dutch attacking midfielder reportedly targeting a return to action in late December.

Spurs have been without the 23-year-old since he suffered a serious knee injury earlier this year, but there is now fresh hope that he could return sooner than initially anticipated.

Simons sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury to his right knee during Tottenham’s clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers around six months ago. The setback ruled him out of the remainder of the campaign and prevented him from featuring at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

However, the latest reports suggest that the Netherlands international is making encouraging progress in his rehabilitation and is working towards a possible comeback before the end of the year.

The former RB Leipzig star joined Tottenham in August 2025 and registered five goals and six assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.

Manager Roberto De Zerbi will be keen to have the creative midfielder back in contention as Spurs look to maintain their recent improvement in the Premier League.

Simons has already resumed individual training on the grass and recently shared footage of his recovery, giving Tottenham supporters fresh reasons for optimism.

Meanwhile, Spurs have also welcomed Dejan Kulusevski back to action this month after his lengthy spell on the sidelines, providing another boost to the squad.

Tottenham have since recorded back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time since August 2025, offering renewed hope as De Zerbi attempts to build consistency.

The Lilywhites are scheduled to face Crystal Palace on Saturday, with another victory potentially strengthening their momentum.

Although Simons’ return date has not been officially confirmed, a successful recovery could give Tottenham another important attacking option in the coming weeks.

Spurs fans will now be hoping the Dutchman continues to progress well and gets back on the pitch as soon as possible.

NOTE: The late-December return is a reported target, not a confirmed comeback date.
