Jamie Carragher has delivered a worrying verdict for Tottenham ahead of their London derby against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Spurs travel to west London following a 3-1 victory over Coventry City, ending their six-match winless run. However, despite the recent boost, questions remain over Roberto De Zerbi’s side after a disappointing start to the season.
Chelsea, meanwhile, have bounced back strongly with consecutive victories, scoring seven goals in the process. Carragher believes the Blues can maintain their momentum by securing another win against their London rivals.
The former Liverpool defender also expects Arsenal to beat Everton comfortably, while backing Liverpool to stop Brighton’s four-game winning streak at Anfield.
Elsewhere, Manchester United could face another difficult test when Bournemouth visit Old Trafford on Sunday.
Chris Sutton is backing Bournemouth to take advantage of United’s inconsistent performances. He also believes the controversy surrounding Bruno Fernandes’ comments about Michael Carrick has added to the uncertainty surrounding the club.
Sutton warned that another defeat could put Carrick’s future in serious danger, although avoiding defeat might only postpone the inevitable.
Other fixtures this weekend include Ipswich Town vs Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa vs Manchester City, Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United, and Hull City vs Brentford.
