ARSENAL HANDED WORRYING BUKAYO SAKA INJURY UPDATE AFTER BAYERN MUNICH DRAW

Arsenal have been handed a worrying injury concern after Bukayo Saka was forced off just nine minutes into their 2-2 Champions League draw against Bayern Munich.

The England international went down without any contact after stretching his leg to strike the ball, raising concerns about a possible quadriceps or hip flexor injury.

According to injury analysis account Physio Scout, Saka’s exact recovery timeline remains uncertain until further scans are completed. However, the initial assessment suggests his absence could range from a few weeks to considerably longer, depending on the severity of the injury.

A minor Grade 1 strain could keep him out for around one to three weeks, while a more serious Grade 2 or Grade 3 injury could result in an absence of six weeks or more.

The timing could hardly be worse for Mikel Arteta’s side, with a demanding run of fixtures approaching. Saka remains one of Arsenal’s most influential attacking players, and his absence would place greater responsibility on Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze to deliver.

Arsenal have struggled to maintain the same attacking threat without their star winger in the past, making the situation even more concerning as they compete on multiple fronts.

For now, the Gunners will have to wait for further medical examinations before knowing the full extent of the damage and when their key attacker could return.

Arsenal fans will be hoping the injury is not as serious as initially feared. 😟
