Tottenham handed major boost in pursuit of three transfer targets worth £172 million

Tottenham Receive Triple Transfer Boost as £172m Summer Spending Spree Continues

Tottenham’s remarkable summer transfer window may be far from over despite already breaking the club’s spending record. After investing around £237 million on new signings, including Sandro Tonali (£100m), Matheus Fernandes (£85m) and Jan Paul van Hecke (£52m), Roberto De Zerbi’s side are still pushing to strengthen the squad.

With ambitions of returning to the Champions League after difficult seasons battling relegation, Spurs are reportedly targeting three more high-profile additions worth a combined £172 million.

Savinho (£60m) remains a leading target, with Tottenham hopeful of agreeing a deal below Manchester City’s reported asking price. The Brazilian winger is said to be open to the move after struggling for regular opportunities at the Etihad.

Cody Gakpo (£70m) is another player firmly on Spurs’ radar. Reports claim discussions have begun with Liverpool over the Dutch forward, whose future has become uncertain amid increased competition in the Reds’ attack.

In defence, Giorgio Scalvini (£42m) is viewed as a priority as Tottenham prepare for the expected exit of Cristian Romero. The Atalanta defender is reportedly interested in a Premier League switch, although Chelsea and Newcastle are also monitoring his situation.

If Spurs succeed in landing all three targets, their total spending this summer could surpass £400 million, underlining the club’s determination to rebuild under De Zerbi.
