Tottenham youngster Mikey Moore is edging closer to a season-long loan move to Bundesliga side FC Köln, with negotiations between the two clubs now in the final stages.
According to reports from Germany, Köln are confident of completing a deal for the 18-year-old, with both clubs making significant progress in talks. The proposed agreement is expected to be a straight loan, with no option to buy, reflecting Tottenham’s belief in Moore’s long-term future at the club.
Moore is regarded as one of Spurs’ brightest academy talents and enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Rangers last season, where he made 47 appearances, scored seven goals and registered four assists. His performances earned him both the Rangers Men’s Young Player of the Year and the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year awards.
A move to the Bundesliga is seen as the next step in his development, offering valuable first-team experience before he returns to compete for a place in Roberto De Zerbi’s squad. If discussions continue as planned, the deal is expected to be completed in the coming days.
