Liverpool Make Contact Over Pedro Neto as Cody Gakpo Exit Threat Grows
Liverpool have reportedly made contact with Pedro Neto’s representatives as they explore a potential late move for the Chelsea winger.
The Reds are believed to be preparing for the possibility of Cody Gakpo leaving Anfield for Manchester City and have identified Neto as one of their preferred options to strengthen the attack.
Neto, 26, remains highly rated at Stamford Bridge, but Liverpool could test Chelsea’s resolve with a late approach. The Blues are reportedly demanding around £100 million or more for the Portugal international.
Liverpool are also continuing their efforts to strengthen their attacking options alongside Bradley Barcola before the transfer window closes.
With the deadline fast approaching, the possibility of Gakpo’s departure could force Liverpool to move quickly if they decide to make a serious push for Neto.
