Alexander Isak made a strong return for Liverpool, scoring the winning goal in their dramatic 2-1 victory over Brentford on Saturday.
The Swedish striker had missed Liverpool’s previous matches due to a minor injury picked up during the international break, but he showed no signs of rustiness at the Gtech Community Stadium.
After combining brilliantly with Bradley Barcola inside the penalty area, Isak calmly finished from close range to complete Liverpool’s comeback and secure all three points.
However, it was his reaction after scoring that caught the attention of fans.
Isak ran towards the travelling Liverpool supporters, celebrating with them as his teammates rushed over to join the celebrations. But the striker appeared to remember a previous incident and was careful not to get carried away.
He was spotted gesturing to the fans and telling them to “calm down” as he celebrated.
The moment was particularly amusing because Isak had previously received a yellow card for celebrating passionately with Liverpool supporters during their 1-0 win over Bournemouth earlier in the 2026/27 Premier League campaign.
Clearly determined not to repeat that mistake, the forward stepped away before risking another booking.
Isak has now scored five Premier League goals for Liverpool this season, already surpassing his league tally from the previous campaign.
😂 Isak has learned his lesson! Was this a smart move from the Liverpool striker? 👀🔴
