Tottenham Closing In on Isaac Allen After Beating Arsenal in Transfer Race
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly on the verge of securing the signing of highly-rated West Ham youngster Isaac Allen, with growing confidence that they have overtaken Arsenal in the race for the England Under-15 captain.
According to journalist Isaan Khan, Arsenal had been tracking the talented midfielder for several weeks and were eager to bring him to North London. However, Spurs now believe they are in a strong position to complete the deal.
The development is another setback for Arsenal, who have already missed out on several young talents this summer after Chelsea and Manchester City won the races for Morgan Rogers and Jeremy Monga, respectively.
For Tottenham, the potential signing reflects their long-term recruitment strategy. Alongside major additions such as Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, and Jan Paul van Hecke, the club is also investing in promising young prospects for the future.
Allen has impressed throughout the youth ranks, attracting interest from several top clubs. Following West Ham’s relegation, the Hammers have found it increasingly difficult to retain some of their brightest young talents, with Allen now appearing set for a move to Spurs.
