Liverpool Turn Attention to PSG Winger After Missing Out on Yan Diomande
Liverpool have reportedly shifted their focus to Bradley Barcola as they continue their search for a new attacking signing following a setback in their pursuit of Yan Diomande.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Reds have admired Barcola since the summer of 2025, and the Paris Saint-Germain winger remains a leading target. While no agreement has been reached with PSG, the situation could develop if the French champions complete deals for Diomande and Maghnes Akliouche, potentially reducing Barcola’s role in the squad.
Liverpool recently suffered a blow after reports indicated Diomande favours a move to PSG despite receiving a strong offer from the Merseyside club. That development has prompted the Reds to seriously consider Barcola as an alternative.
The French international is viewed as an exciting long-term option thanks to his pace, dribbling ability and attacking flair. Although replacing the output of Mohamed Salah will be a huge challenge, Barcola is seen as a player capable of adding creativity and unpredictability to Liverpool’s frontline.
A transfer would likely depend on PSG’s summer recruitment and the club’s willingness to negotiate, with Liverpool expected to monitor the situation closely before making any move.
