Tottenham Star Confirms Contract Talks as Club Moves to Secure His Future

Antonin Kinsky has revealed that he is in discussions with Tottenham Hotspur over a new long-term contract as the club looks to tie down the promising goalkeeper.

With Guglielmo Vicario expected to leave this summer, Kinsky is widely tipped to become Spurs’ first-choice goalkeeper under Roberto De Zerbi. The 23-year-old impressed last season after stepping in during Vicario’s injury absence, producing a string of strong performances to help Tottenham retain their Premier League status.

Speaking to Czech outlet Olympijsky Tym, Kinsky admitted negotiations are ongoing but stressed his desire to remain in North London.

«”Negotiations are underway with the club about what the future might hold. I want to stay and fight for my place because the Premier League is an incredible competition,” he said.»

The Czech international also welcomed the competition brought by experienced goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, insisting he is ready to compete throughout pre-season.

“Whether I’m the starter or the backup is up to the coach. I’ve always believed in myself as the number one, even when I wasn’t playing, and I’ll keep that mindset.”

Kinsky also shared that he has built close friendships with Micky van de Ven, Lucas Bergvall, and Archie Gray, who he says are the teammates he spends the most time with.

After enjoying a short holiday in Corfu, Greece, the goalkeeper has already returned to training and is working with a fitness coach to ensure he is fully prepared for the upcoming campaign.
