TOTTENHAM DEFENDER’S STRUGGLES EXPOSED AS BRAZIL CRUISE PAST SCOTLAND

Tottenham brought Robertson in to compete with Destiny Udogie at left-back, but Djed Spence has arguably looked more convincing whenever he has filled the role despite being naturally right-sided.
Some supporters believe Spurs would have been better served by promoting highly rated academy prospect Souza and giving him valuable first-team opportunities. Instead, the youngster is reportedly set for a loan move, while Robertson faces increasing scrutiny over his ability to justify the club’s faith in him.
