Liverpool’s Ideal Summer Rebuild Under Iraola After Salah Exit
With Mohamed Salah and Ibrahima Konaté no longer at Anfield, Liverpool are entering a crucial new chapter under manager Andoni Iraola. To remain competitive in both the Premier League and Europe, the Reds must strengthen key areas while managing their finances carefully.
Liverpool’s biggest concerns are attacking depth and defensive cover. To help fund new arrivals, players such as Wataru Endo, Stefan Bajcetic, Vitezslav Jaros, and Harvey Elliott could be sold, potentially generating around £40 million.
Rather than replacing Salah with one player, the club could spread his responsibilities across multiple signings.

Capable of playing at right-back, centre-back, and midfield, Geertruida’s versatility would provide valuable depth and tactical flexibility.
Alongside a proposed £55m move for defender Jacquet, Liverpool’s total spending could reach £195m, resulting in a net spend of around £155m after player sales.
