Liverpool reportedly offered chance to sign Barcelona star Alejandro Balde
Liverpool have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde during the January transfer window.
The Reds are understood to be among the clubs being made aware of Balde’s situation at Camp Nou, with uncertainty surrounding the defender’s long-term future at Barcelona.
Balde, regarded as one of Europe’s most exciting young left-backs, has previously attracted interest from several major clubs because of his pace, attacking ability and versatility.
A move to Liverpool could give the 22-year-old a fresh challenge in the Premier League, while the Reds would potentially add another dynamic option to their defence.
However, there is currently no indication that Liverpool have made a formal offer for Balde, and a January transfer remains far from guaranteed.
Liverpool will now have to decide whether Balde fits their plans before potentially making a move when the transfer window opens.
