Emile Heskey believes Rio Ngumoha could eventually leave Liverpool for Bayern Munich.

Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey believes Rio Ngumoha could eventually make a move to Bayern Munich, although he insists the teenage winger should first establish himself at Anfield.
Heskey says the appeal of Bayern could be difficult for a young English player to ignore, particularly with players such as Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Jude and Jobe Bellingham having links to or enjoyed success in Germany.
Speaking to Rekatochklart.com, Heskey acknowledged that interest from major clubs such as Arsenal and Bayern could tempt Ngumoha, but stressed that the 18-year-old should focus on securing his place at Liverpool before considering a move elsewhere.
Heskey also backed Ngumoha to have a future with England, suggesting that the winger could put himself in contention for the national team if he continues developing at club level.
He praised Ngumoha’s ability on the ball, particularly his dribbling, but believes the youngster now needs to improve his final contribution by producing more goals, assists and overall impact for the team.
Ngumoha has attracted interest from several major European clubs since moving from Chelsea’s academy to Liverpool. Bayern Munich have reportedly been monitoring him, while Arsenal have also been linked with the youngster.
Liverpool, meanwhile, see Ngumoha as an important part of their long-term plans after giving him his senior opportunity and seeing him make an impression with the first team.
One potential issue is playing time. Liverpool have added further attacking options, including Barcola, increasing competition for places and potentially making regular minutes harder to secure.
At only 18, Ngumoha still has plenty of time to develop and establish himself at Anfield. Heskey’s view is that his immediate focus should be on proving his value at Liverpool, even though a future move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs cannot be ruled out.
