Major Update on Liverpool Transfer Target Michael Olise’s Future
Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise could reportedly be offered a new long-term contract as the German giants look to secure his future.
The France international has impressed hugely since moving to Bayern, with his performances attracting attention from several top European clubs.
Liverpool have previously been linked with Olise, with reports suggesting the Reds could view the former Crystal Palace star as a potential long-term successor to Mohamed Salah.
However, according to German outlet Bild, Bayern are now preparing an improved contract for the 24-year-old. His current deal runs until 2029, but the proposed extension could keep him at the Allianz Arena until 2032.
Could Olise Remain at Bayern?
Olise has taken his performances to another level since joining Bayern. Although he showed plenty of promise during his time at Crystal Palace, his development in Germany has established him as one of Europe’s exciting attacking players.
Whether he accepts Bayern’s proposed new terms remains to be seen. He could choose to continue his development in Munich or potentially consider a move to another major European club in the future.
For Liverpool, Olise would certainly fit the profile of a player capable of operating effectively on the right wing. With Salah eventually needing a long-term replacement, the Frenchman could be viewed as a potential option.
However, Bayern appear keen to resolve the situation early and prevent uncertainty over Olise’s future from growing as his current contract moves closer to its final years.
