Sam Allardyce believes Trent Alexander-Arnold should consider a return to Liverpool if he cannot secure regular playing time at Real Madrid.
The former England manager feels the 27-year-old needs to be playing consistently at Madrid and suggested Liverpool could benefit from having their academy graduate back.
Allardyce also defended Trent against criticism of his defensive ability, while highlighting his passing range as one of his biggest strengths.
With Trent’s role reportedly uncertain following Denzel Dumfries’ arrival and Jose Mourinho experimenting with him in midfield, questions are now being raised over his long-term place in the Real Madrid team. 👀
Could Trent really return to Liverpool? 🤔🔴
