Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa this summer, with the England international said to be open to a move to the Emirates.
The Gunners have identified the 28-year-old centre-back as one of their top defensive targets following William Saliba’s injury, although Aston Villa’s reported £60 million valuation remains a major obstacle.
Liverpool have also been linked with Konsa, but Aston Villa are under no pressure to sell and remain in control of the defender’s future.
Arsenal are also monitoring other defensive options, including Konstantinos Mavropanos and Jacobo Ramon, as manager Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his backline before the new season.
With William Saliba facing a spell on the sidelines, Arsenal are eager to bring in defensive reinforcements, though it remains unclear whether Konsa will be their top priority or if they will pursue a more affordable alternative.
