Tottenham Facing Big Decision Over Dominic Solanke as Concerns Grow
TOTTENHAM COULD SOON HAVE A MAJOR DECISION TO MAKE ON DOMINIC SOLANKE! 👀⚪
Tottenham’s £65 million investment in Dominic Solanke is coming under renewed scrutiny as the striker continues to struggle for goals and consistent performances.
Solanke joined Spurs from Bournemouth in 2024 after an impressive final season on the south coast, where he scored 19 Premier League goals. He also played an important part in Tottenham’s Europa League success, but injuries have interrupted his progress since then.
The concerns have returned this season, with Solanke yet to make the attacking impact Tottenham are looking for. Spurs themselves have also struggled to find the back of the net consistently.
Following the defeat to Aston Villa, manager Roberto De Zerbi admitted that Tottenham need more from the striker. He highlighted Solanke’s physical condition and confidence while making it clear that he still believes in the forward and wants to help him improve.
That leaves Tottenham with an important question: Can Solanke rediscover the form that convinced the club to spend £65m on him, or will Spurs eventually need to look at other options for the centre-forward position?
For now, De Zerbi appears prepared to continue backing the striker. However, with Tottenham needing more goals and better results, Solanke will have to show his response on the pitch.
🔥 The pressure is beginning to rise around Tottenham’s £65m striker.
