Tottenham Hotspur could be preparing a surprise move for Real Madrid centre-back Antonio Rüdiger ahead of next summer’s transfer window.
Reports suggest Spurs are keeping a close eye on the 33-year-old German defender, who could become available on a free transfer if Real Madrid decide not to extend his contract beyond June 2027.
However, his current deal reportedly includes an option for an additional year, meaning his future at the Spanish giants remains uncertain. Saudi Pro League clubs are also said to be interested in signing him.
Rüdiger, meanwhile, remains focused on his duties at Real Madrid, with discussions about his long-term future expected to take place in the spring.
For Tottenham, signing the experienced defender could be a major boost, especially given his Premier League experience and physical presence at the back.
But will Spurs succeed in bringing the Real Madrid star back to England, or will another club win the race for his signature? 👀🤔
