DE ZERBI SPEAKS OUT AS TOTTENHAM’S INJURY CRISIS DEEPENS AHEAD OF CHELSEA CLASH!

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has defended the club’s medical team as Spurs prepare for their crucial Premier League clash against Chelsea with several players struggling with fitness issues.

As many as nine players could be unavailable, but the Italian coach insists the situation does not justify blaming the medical department.

⚠️ SPURS FACE MAJOR SELECTION HEADACHE

Destiny Udogie remains out with a knee injury, while Lucas Bergvall and Savio are also sidelined. Tosin Adarabioyo is doubtful, and Rodrigo Bentancur will miss the game through suspension.

James Maddison is a concern after missing three days of training following his impressive return against Coventry City. Meanwhile, Dejan Kulusevski will be carefully managed after his lengthy injury absence.

However, Tottenham have received some encouraging news. Pedro Porro is available again after recovering from a hamstring problem, while Andy Robertson, Omar Marmoush and Dominic Solanke have also reportedly been cleared following fitness concerns.

🗣️ DE ZERBI REFUSES TO BLAME MEDICAL STAFF

De Zerbi believes several injuries have understandable explanations. He pointed to Porro’s previous hamstring problems, Bergvall’s knee injury against Manchester United and Robertson’s demanding international schedule.

The Spurs boss insists he trusts the club’s medical team and says a full assessment of the injury situation will take place at the end of the season.

He has also made it clear that he will not rush players back before they are fully fit, despite Tottenham’s shortage of available options.

🔥 CHELSEA CLASH PRESENTS ANOTHER HUGE TEST

Tottenham now face a difficult trip to Stamford Bridge, where their record against Chelsea has been particularly poor. According to the report, Spurs are targeting only their second win in 42 meetings at Chelsea’s home ground across all competitions.

Despite the injury concerns, De Zerbi remains determined to prepare his available players for the London derby without using the situation as an excuse.
