The Premier League has unveiled the full fixture list for the 2026-27 season, with title contenders set to begin their campaigns against newly promoted sides.
With attention largely on the World Cup, fans of all 20 clubs — including Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City — can now look ahead and plan for the upcoming season.
Arsenal, aiming to secure consecutive league titles for the first time since the 1930s, will kick off at home against Coventry on Friday, 21 August, and conclude their season at the Emirates against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Key 2026-27 Premier League dates
Due to the World Cup schedule, the season will begin a week later than usual, starting on the weekend of 22 August. The final round of matches will take place simultaneously on Sunday, 30 May.
There will be three international breaks, including a new extended break from 21 September to 6 October, along with the usual breaks in November and March.
Big fixtures to watch
The top two from last season will clash at the Emirates around 28 November, with the return fixture set for 30 January.
Liverpool vs Manchester United will take place at Anfield on 21 November and at Old Trafford on 23 January.
The Manchester derbies are scheduled for 12 September and 30 March, while Liverpool will host Manchester City on 3 October before visiting the Etihad on 8 May.
Opening fixtures for Champions League clubs
Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United have also had their first six fixtures confirmed, featuring a mix of home and away matches against both established and newly promoted sides.
