TOTTENHAM COULD FACE THOMAS FRANK AGAIN AS CRYSTAL PALACE CONSIDER MANAGERIAL CHANGE

Former Tottenham manager Thomas Frank could be handed another Premier League opportunity, with Crystal Palace reportedly considering him as a potential replacement for under-pressure head coach Pierre Sage.

Frank was sacked by Spurs in February following a disappointing run of results that left the club struggling in 16th place. However, his impressive work at Brentford has continued to make him an attractive option for clubs seeking an experienced manager.

Crystal Palace are reportedly exploring alternatives after their humiliating 5-0 defeat to Brighton increased the pressure on Sage. The heavy loss has raised fresh doubts about whether the Frenchman can turn the team’s fortunes around.

Interestingly, Palace are scheduled to face Tottenham on October 31. If Frank takes charge before that fixture, he could find himself facing his former club just months after his departure.

However, a return to management is not guaranteed. Frank previously revealed that he wanted to take a break from football after leaving Spurs, giving himself time to reflect, spend time with his family and recharge before considering another demanding role.

The Danish coach admitted that he had received approaches and discussed potential opportunities but was unwilling to rush into his next decision.

Despite his difficult spell at Tottenham, Frank’s achievements at Brentford have helped preserve his reputation as a capable Premier League manager.

Crystal Palace’s reported interest could offer him a chance to rebuild his career, although it remains unclear whether he is ready to return to the touchline.

For Tottenham, the possibility of facing their former boss in the opposing dugout could add another intriguing twist to their season.
