Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola has stressed the importance of squad rotation as the Reds prepare for a demanding run of fixtures, with Cody Gakpo, Alexander Isak and Dominik Szoboszlai potentially nearing a return.
With Liverpool playing matches almost every three days, Iraola admitted that regular changes to the starting lineup will be necessary to keep his players fresh and competitive.
“We need everyone. Every player must be ready because we will need them at some point,” the Liverpool boss explained.
The manager has also left the door open for Gakpo, Isak and Szoboszlai to feature against Brentford after the trio missed the recent fixtures against Manchester City and in Austria due to injuries sustained on international duty.
Unlike previous matches, Iraola has refused to rule them out, insisting that their availability will depend on how they progress.
