Liverpool Could Be Set for an Iraola-Semenyo Reunion After New Man City Twist

Liverpool Could Target Semenyo After Fresh Manchester City Development

Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Manchester City attackers Antoine Semenyo and Jeremy Doku, with the Reds potentially ready to explore a move if City are forced to sell players.

According to reports, Liverpool’s interest could depend heavily on the outcome of Manchester City’s ongoing Premier League case involving the club’s alleged 114 charges.

Why Semenyo Could Be the Better Option

While Doku remains an exciting talent, Liverpool may not see him as an immediate priority due to their existing options on the left flank.

Semenyo, however, could be a more attractive target. The Ghanaian forward has previously been linked with Liverpool and already has a connection with manager Andoni Iraola from their time together at Bournemouth.

That relationship could potentially give Liverpool an advantage if the 26-year-old becomes available.

However, there is still plenty of uncertainty surrounding Manchester City’s situation. The Premier League has yet to announce a final verdict, and City could appeal any potential punishment.

For now, Liverpool’s potential interest in Semenyo or Doku remains speculative. A number of circumstances would have to align before either player could realistically become available.
