Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Hull City goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis as they assess their options for the future.
The 23-year-old Greece international, who has earned 13 caps for his country, joined Hull during the summer in a club-record £20m deal, with potential add-ons included.
However, TEAMtalk reports that Liverpool have been impressed by Tzolakis’ performances since his move to the MKM Stadium, with the goalkeeper now firmly on their radar.
The Reds have not yet decided whether they will sign a long-term successor to Alisson, but Tzolakis is reportedly one of the players they are keeping an eye on.
Tottenham are also believed to be searching for a new first-choice goalkeeper, with some members of their recruitment team reportedly unconvinced by Antonin Kinsky. Tzolakis is said to be among the names on Spurs’ shortlist should they decide to strengthen the position.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly monitoring the Greek goalkeeper’s development.
Meanwhile, Alisson’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain. The Brazilian’s current contract expires at the end of the season, and there has been no indication so far that he will extend his stay at Anfield.
Alisson was reportedly open to a move to Juventus last summer, but the Italian club could not reach an agreement with Liverpool over a transfer fee and ultimately signed Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario instead.
Although Juventus may no longer be an option for the 33-year-old, Alisson could attract significant interest from other clubs if he allows his contract to expire and becomes available as a free agent.
