Odegaard Breaks Silence After Bernardo Silva Clash
Martin Odegaard has spoken out after his heated clash with Bernardo Silva during Norway’s 2-1 defeat to Portugal.
The Arsenal captain appeared unhappy after Silva caught him with a challenge late in the game. Speaking afterwards, Odegaard criticised the incident, saying such behaviour has no place on a football pitch.
The challenge sparked plenty of debate, with fans questioning whether Silva should have received a harsher punishment.
Odegaard will now hope the incident does not affect his fitness ahead of Arsenal’s return to Premier League action.
