Arsenal Star Reportedly Furious Over His Treatment and ‘Feels Disrespected’

Arsenal Star Reportedly Unhappy With Treatment as ‘Disrespect’ Claims Emerge

Arsenal’s impressive start to the 2026/27 campaign continued on Sunday as they came from behind to defeat Chelsea 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

Morgan Rogers put Chelsea ahead early, but the Gunners responded strongly, with former Blues forward Kai Havertz and captain Martin Ødegaard finding the net to secure another important victory.

Despite the positive atmosphere surrounding Mikel Arteta’s side, reports suggest there could be frustration within the squad.

Gyökeres Reportedly Frustrated

Arsenal were keen to strengthen their attack during the summer and were linked with a move for Atlético Madrid striker Julian Alvarez. However, the proposed deal never materialised, with Atlético demanding a significant fee and Alvarez reportedly favouring a move to Barcelona.

Viktor Gyökeres, meanwhile, has found himself struggling for minutes despite arriving at Arsenal in a reported £64 million move from Sporting CP.

The Swedish striker has yet to start a match this season. Kai Havertz has been preferred in attack, while Gyökeres has either remained on the bench or been given limited opportunities.

According to Piers Morgan, speaking on Sports Uncensored, Gyökeres was allegedly being “deliberately benched” while Arsenal explored the possibility of using him in a deal for Alvarez.

Morgan claimed the striker is now unhappy with how he has been treated and believes he has been disrespected.

He also suggested that Arsenal could return to the transfer market in January in search of another striker.

Gyökeres has made 57 appearances for Arsenal since joining the club, scoring 22 goals, but his limited involvement at the beginning of this season has reportedly raised concerns about his situation.

Could this become a major Arsenal story heading into January?
