🗣️ Mac Allister Speaks Out on His Future
Addressing his contract situation, the 27-year-old explained that his previous comments were driven by his emotions.
“When I said what I said, it was more emotion and my feelings,” Mac Allister admitted.
He also made it clear that the decision ultimately rests with Liverpool’s hierarchy, adding that he would continue giving his best in matches and training.
😟 Why Liverpool Fans Are Worried
Earlier this season, the World Cup winner reportedly expressed disappointment after Liverpool failed to offer him a new deal. With two years remaining on his current contract, he was particularly frustrated after seeing midfield teammates Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch secure improved terms.
Mac Allister also revealed that leaving Liverpool was a genuine possibility during the summer transfer window before deciding to stay and continue fighting for the club.
👀 Real Madrid and Chelsea Monitoring the Situation
Real Madrid are reportedly interested in the Argentine international and could consider making a move if Liverpool fail to secure his long-term future.
Chelsea have also been linked with the midfielder, while Manchester United and Manchester City have previously been mentioned as potential suitors.
Mac Allister recently scored twice against Villarreal in the Champions League, further highlighting his importance to the team.
However, with contract uncertainty continuing, Liverpool could face a difficult decision over one of their key midfielders.
