TOTTENHAM FACE FRANTIC FINAL HOURS AS KEVIN DANSO EDGES CLOSER TO EXIT AND SPURS SEARCH FOR REPLACEMENT

Tottenham are heading into a hectic final two days of the transfer window, with several departures and potential new arrivals expected before the deadline.

Spurs have already reached full agreements for Mikey Moore to join FC Köln on loan, while Pape Matar Sarr is also set to leave for Juventus on an initial loan deal, which includes a conditional £25.6m obligation to buy.

Now, another Tottenham player could be on his way out.

Kevin Danso is attracting strong interest from Sunderland, with the Black Cats reportedly pushing to complete a deal within the next 24 hours. After Tottenham rejected Sunderland’s initial straight-loan proposal, the club are now considering a loan arrangement that would include an obligation to buy.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Danso is keen on the move, while Tottenham are actively searching for a replacement before approving his departure.

Romano said: “After Pape Sarr to Juventus and Mikey Moore to Köln, Kevin Danso can also leave Tottenham in the next 24h. Sunderland are pushing to sign him with player keen and THFC are looking for a replacement.”

That leaves Spurs with an important decision to make before the deadline.

Tottenham are understood to be looking for another addition to Roberto De Zerbi’s squad, alongside their pursuit of Iliman Ndiaye. With Danso potentially leaving, the club could prioritise a new right-sided centre-back.

There are also suggestions that De Zerbi wants an experienced right-back to provide cover for Pedro Porro, meaning Tottenham could look for a versatile defender capable of operating in both positions.

However, finding the right player with just hours remaining in the transfer window could prove extremely difficult.

Tottenham could be in for a dramatic final 24 hours. 🚨
