Several top Premier League clubs are reportedly monitoring Trent Alexander-Arnold’s situation at Real Madrid ahead of a possible move during the January transfer window.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, a number of English clubs are keeping tabs on the England international as uncertainty continues to surround his future at the Bernabéu.
The 28-year-old has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter this season, with Denzel Dumfries and Federico Valverde reportedly ahead of him in the pecking order under manager José Mourinho.
His limited playing time has also fuelled speculation that he is becoming increasingly frustrated with his situation in Spain.
However, despite growing interest from Premier League rivals, Liverpool are reportedly not considering bringing their former right-back back to Anfield.
For now, Alexander-Arnold remains determined to fight for his place and convince Mourinho that he deserves a regular spot in Real Madrid’s starting eleven.
A potential return to English football could become an interesting transfer story if his situation in Madrid does not improve.
