Tottenham Hotspur have suffered a double

Tottenham Hotspur have suffered a double injury setback ahead of their crucial Premier League clash against Coventry City, but there is finally some positive news for Spurs fans.

Manager Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed that Savio and Lucas Bergvall will miss Monday’s match after picking up injuries.

Savio reportedly suffered a muscular problem shortly before Tottenham travelled to Marbella for their warm-weather training camp. The winger is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.

Meanwhile, Bergvall sustained a knee problem during Tottenham’s draw against Manchester United. Although he initially felt fine, further assessment revealed that he could be out for around two weeks.

However, there is a major reason for Spurs supporters to celebrate! 🤩

Dejan Kulusevski is set to return to the matchday squad after spending more than 500 days out with a serious knee injury.

The Swedish winger recently featured in a behind-closed-doors friendly during the international break, and De Zerbi has now confirmed that Kulusevski will be on the bench against Coventry.

The Spurs boss described his return as some of the best news since the Everton game, expressing happiness after seeing the player smile following confirmation of his availability.

Meanwhile, De Zerbi also addressed the ongoing situation involving Richarlison, who recently appeared to criticise the manager on social media. The Brazilian striker has been training with Tottenham’s Under-21s after being left out of the first-team setup.

De Zerbi declined to discuss the matter further, insisting that his full attention is on the upcoming Coventry clash.

With Tottenham still searching for their first Premier League victory of the season, could Kulusevski’s return finally provide the spark Spurs desperately need? 👀⚽️
