Tottenham Receive Major Transfer Boost as Manchester United Approve Star’s Exit

Manchester United have no intention of selling Benjamin Šeško this summer, with the club determined to keep the Slovenian striker at the heart of its long-term plans despite interest from several of Europe’s biggest teams.

A number of top clubs are believed to have explored the possibility of signing the 23-year-old through intermediaries, but United quickly made it clear that Šeško is not available for transfer.

Sporting director Jason Wilcox and the club’s leadership are delighted with the striker’s progress under manager Michael Carrick. After making a major effort to sign him last summer, United have seen him flourish, particularly after overcoming a difficult spell earlier in the season.

Šeško ended the campaign in impressive form, scoring seven goals in his final 13 appearances and establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s most exciting young forwards. His performances have only strengthened United’s belief that he can lead their attack for years to come.

Although United remain in the market for another striker before the transfer window closes, the plan is to provide competition and depth alongside Šeško rather than replace him, especially with uncertainty surrounding Joshua Zirkzee’s future.

Internally, the Slovenian is regarded as a cornerstone of Carrick’s rebuilding project and the club’s first-choice centre-forward. His impressive displays have attracted attention from clubs including Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur, but all enquiries have been firmly rejected.

United’s position is clear: Šeško is not for sale.

The striker is also happy at Old Trafford and fully committed to the project under Carrick. He reportedly believes Manchester United is the ideal place to continue his development while helping the club challenge for major trophies again.

With both the player and the club aligned, Manchester United are confident Šeško will remain at Old Trafford this summer as Carrick continues to build his squad around one of his most important players.
