Arsenal Star Now Deemed ‘Undroppable’ by Fans After Brighton Nightmare

Arsenal Star Now Viewed as ‘Undroppable’ by Fans After Brighton Defeat

Arsenal suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, but one player appears to have strengthened his case for a regular starting role despite the Gunners’ poor display.

The result ended Arsenal’s unbeaten start to the Premier League season and saw Mikel Arteta’s side fall to second place in the table.

Arteta made two changes to the team that defeated Sunderland, with Bruno Guimaraes handed his first Premier League start for the club while Jurrien Timber replaced Ben White.

However, the decision to leave Myles Lewis-Skelly out of the starting XI has sparked a strong reaction from Arsenal supporters.

One fan posted: “Lewis-Skelly might actually be undroppable.”

Another added: “Tell Arteta, never bench Myles Lewis-Skelly again.”

Some supporters also questioned the decision to change a midfield setup that had been working, with several arguing that Lewis-Skelly’s presence has become increasingly important to the team.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed an impressive beginning to the campaign, making six appearances across all competitions and featuring in each of Arsenal’s last four Premier League matches before the Brighton defeat.

Although his playing time has gradually reduced, Lewis-Skelly has continued to make an impact in midfield.

With Arsenal struggling badly against Brighton, supporters have made their feelings clear on social media, with many calling for Lewis-Skelly to return to the starting lineup and remain there.
