ARSENAL MAKE CONTACT TO SIGN SURPRISE £35M STAR BEFORE ASTON VILLA CLASH Arsenal have reportedly made contact with Lyon over a potential deal for highly-rated winger Malick Fofana, with the Gunners exploring a late move before Tuesday’s transfer deadline. The 21-year-old Belgium international is valued at around £35 million, and reports suggest he is keen on a move to the Emirates. Arsenal are still pursuing Julian Alvarez, but with the Argentine favouring Barcelona, the Gunners are looking at alternative attacking options. Fofana previously caught Arsenal’s attention and could now become a late addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad.
