Liverpool REJECT £30M Bid From Premier League Rivals for One of Their Biggest Young Talents

Liverpool have reportedly rejected a £30 million offer from a Premier League rival for highly rated midfielder Trey Nyoni.

The Reds quickly dismissed the proposal and are understood to have no plans to sell the 19-year-old, who is viewed as an important part of the club’s squad.

Nottingham Forest are believed to have submitted an initial £25 million bid for Nyoni, with a further £5 million available in add-ons. However, Liverpool immediately turned down the offer.

Nyoni recently made his first competitive appearance of the season, coming off the bench for 13 minutes during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest. His performance appears to have strengthened Forest’s interest in the young midfielder.

With Curtis Jones having left the club, Nyoni has been tipped to play a bigger role under new head coach Andoni Iraola this season.

Forest have also been active in their pursuit of young midfield talent, previously making a significant offer for Everton youngster Harrison Armstrong.

For now, Nyoni is expected to remain at Anfield beyond the transfer deadline, with Liverpool determined to keep hold of one of their most promising young players.
