Despite Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Everton, Mikel Arteta has been urged to consider replacing Ben White following a performance that left some supporters frustrated.
Arsenal took the lead through Ezri Konsa, who reportedly scored his first goal for the Gunners within seven minutes. However, Everton continued to create dangerous chances and made life difficult for the hosts.
The Gunners struggled to put the game beyond their opponents until Gabriel scored a second goal to secure all three points.
😳 BEN WHITE BECOMES THE TALKING POINT
While Arsenal celebrated the win, attention quickly shifted to White’s defensive display. Several supporters took to social media to question whether the right-back should continue starting, with some calling for Arsenal to sign a new player for that position.
One fan suggested the club should consider a new right-back or give Cristhian Mosquera a chance, while another argued that Arsenal need a player capable of raising the team’s overall level.
📊 WHITE’S STATISTICS RAISE CONCERNS
Although White provided the assist for Gabriel’s goal, his overall performance attracted criticism.
According to the report, the England international:
– Failed to complete a successful tackle.
– Made an error that led to a shot.
– Lost possession 12 times.
– Failed to complete any of his attempted dribbles.
– Recorded a passing accuracy of just 73%.
His attacking contribution helped Arsenal secure the win, but questions remain about his defensive reliability.
🔴 THE BIG QUESTION: SHOULD ARTETA CONTINUE TRUSTING BEN WHITE, OR IS IT TIME FOR ARSENAL TO SIGN A NEW RIGHT-BACK?
